This large basement interior design project required the creation of a space for a family friendly retreat. Warm grey tones contrasted with rich dark charcoals and browns are used throughout the space to infuse the space with elements of elegance and comfort. Fun geometric patterns on decorative pillows, decor, and seating draw attention to focal areas of the space such as the feature fireplace wall. Solid wood pocket doors that lead to the home theatre add an element of sound separation for when the client wants

to use the full sound system. In addition to the home theatre, the home gym and bathroom were also renovated for a seamless design flow through the space. Warm neutral tones and dark contrasts

continue into the bathroom in the form of wall and floor  tiles and a mosaic backsplash.
